As the founder of The Coursilience Group, I bring 23 years of active duty service in support of Special Operations. I have extensive experience in high stress environments working with the highest levels of armed conflict. My hope is to share my personal failures, experiences and successes with those in need of support by way of offering encouragement, education and communication. Together we can conquer the fears that keeps us from bettering ourselves and those around us.
By way of experience and knowledge, our skills are based off real life encounters. Our trainng is focused on conflict resolution, emotional intelligence and mindfulness.
To save a life, save a marriage and relationships in all aspects, by finding the COURAGE to be open to learning how to look inward at oneself through self reflection. We want to find ways to get ahead of personal conflict before it becomes a conflict with yourself, those around you and build the RESILIENCE to not become complacent. We don't want to wait until it becomes a problem. We break barriers to help connect things where we can. We and our families are too important.
Our approach is self reflection. At its heart, self reflection is setting aside time to think deeply and evaluate your thoughts, attitudes, motivations and desires. It's examining your emotions, behaviors and asking yourself, "Why do feel and act this way?"
Our values are centered on courage, compassion, integrity, honesty, community and dependability.

At The Coursilience Group, we believe that the essence of harmonious interaction can be derived from the principles of Aikido—where AI signifies harmony, KI represents energy, and DO embodies the way. Just as Aikido teaches us to neutralize an attack without causing harm, we strive to create an environment where conflicts are resolved respectfully and constructively.
In our fast-paced community, conflicts inevitably arise. It's essential to recognize that while our thoughts may guide us toward specific conflict resolution techniques, our instinctive reactions often lean toward “fight or flight.” We understand that this disparity can lead to misunderstandings and escalated tensions within our teams, families and community. Therefore, we emphasize the skill of centering—helping our Teammates align their thoughts, behavior, and bodily responses during challenging situations.
By cultivating this alignment, we empower our Teammates to approach conflict with clarity and composure. Our focus is on being "hard on the issue and soft on the person," ensuring that while we address challenging topics head-on, we maintain respect and empathy for all parties involved. This approach not only fosters a more cooperative family space, but also enhances overall productivity and morale.
We are dedicated to integrating the philosophy of AI KI DO into our core practices. Through training, workshops, and a culture of open communication, we aim to harmonize the energy, transforming potential conflicts into opportunities for growth and collaboration. Together, we navigate the challenges of our community, reinforcing our commitment to creating a harmonious environment for our families, clients, and community.
